New to Universal and have a few questions.

I know when booking WDW it is best to book way in advance! How far in advance do Universal hotels book up? Or how far in advance can I book a hotel?

If you stay on Universal Property do they have a free shuttle from the airport to the hotel?

How are Universal restaurants with allergies? My DD has Celiac's and WDW is amazing but I am very nervous about the restaurants at Universal...

There is no free shuttle from the airport to the Universal hotels.

It depends on when you are travelling how far in advance you need to book your room. Many specials and promotions are not offered too far in advance. You can book when you like and keep checking to see if the rate comes down or promotions are offered.

Typical busy times are Thanksgiving, Christmas, Spring Break and Summer. Also Halloween dates sell out for HHN Now with WWOHP I would hold my room as soon as I know my dates.

Actually that link started in 2007 and continues through 2009. There are phone #'s posted as well as Universal Chefs that can be contacted. The info is still accurate. Like you said though I would call for specifics to places you are interested in.

We are a family of 4 and either grab a cab at the airport or hire a towncar/SUV for the roundtrip ride.
