Is it to late to rent points for a stay March 2 thorugh 7, 2008? I think I would need 55 points.

I just let a studio go at SSR for March 2, 3, and 4th. You never know, you might get lucky if you can find a member to work with you at this late (regarding payment). The points would be 13 a night at SSR, though, Sunday through Thursday during Magic Season. I doubt OKW would be available (it would be 11 points a night), but you never know.

You'd better be ready to pay it all immediately. I sure wouldn't use any of my points to make a reservation for a stranger that I wasn't sure would pay. And result in my points going into holding if I didn't get paid.

If I were you, I'd just call CRO and see what they have.

A DVC reservation through CRO will be a lot more than through a member. But any member you get is going to be pretty naive or desperate for such a short term reservation.

I made reservations last week for the 4th and 5th as an add on to an already booked trip. The 4th at OKW was available but there was nothing in a studio anywhere else for the two days together. I took the 4th and waitlisted for the 5th which came through a couple of days later. You may get lucky if someone cancels or if someone is willing to call each day for you. If so you may end up paying about 1/2 of what you could get through CRO with a special rate if you can get one.

Also you should consider that all tranactions this late are final. If something happened, then you would most likely not receive a refund.
