New to this Board

:Hi! I usually post on CB or any of the theme park boards, but now have reason to be here. I hope it is okay for me to join the need for prayers and compassion as I will return the favor!
My DD6 is starting school on Tuesday. She just started treatment for precocious puberty. We should see some results in a month or two, but I am nervous to send her to school. I shouldnt be, since we spent the whole summer at the pool and only one person mentioned that she had a little chest on her already. Close friends of ours have not even noticed and were shocked when we told them about the treatment.
The good news is this will reverse itself and she will look very much like an almost 7 year old again soon. I just felt the need to join you here. I know what a lot of you are dealing with is much worse and you would trade places with us in a heartbeat. But I worry about my girl.

Please share your worries with me and I will add you to my prayer list.
Off to take DD and DS7months to Wild Water Kingdom! I forget my worried while I am there.

I see we're from the same area. I so glad the doctors will be able to help your daughter. I totally understand about how you worry about your DD. My DD6 has a severe speech impediment to the point, that I have to translate to family for her. She started kindergarten this year and I worry how the other kids will react to her. My mom is also fighting cancer right now too. We'll keep strong and deal with each thing as they come.

Keep strong and I'll keep you and your DD in my thoughts and prayers.

By the way, how was Dorney and Wild Water Kingdom? I haven't been for years.

The rides are great, but the people who visit are the rude, gross people that we all complain about at Disney. My husband calls them "the great unwashed". So I think you may be disappointed in it if you havent been there in so long. My parents get us passes for our bdays so we make the best of it.

Thanks for your kind words about my little girl, hope yours is enjoying kindergarten. Where does she go? (you can PM me if you want to talk about the schools our kids are in)

Hi Erin & Dreamin - another Lehigh Valley PA-er - so when's the DISMeet?!?! I can meet before work next week (9:30-ish) at Starbucks at the Promenade if anyone is interested! LuvOrlando from this board also lives in the area...and a few others...I smell a DIS Meet!!

Erin, I'm sorry your DD is having to deal with this situation (and the worry it is causing you) . Hopefully the other kids will be so busy trying to get into a routine that they won't notice anything. that your DD has a great year!
