New to this board...questions

Hey all! I just found you guys! I've read through some of the posts, but I've got a question.

I've adopted a corpsman from www.operationmilitarysupport.com

We've sent letters and care packages (3 so far, 4th ready to grow)

My guy is in 2nd Bn 23rd Marines Golf Company (unfortunately Rick Leventhal from Fox News is in FOX company) I know they are right on the front lines.

Are they even GETTING our packages? I haven't heard back but that may be because he is ...well, kinda busy.

It's getting hard to pack boxes b/c I'm fearing everything will show up on the same day anyway and he'll have duplicates of everything!

My first package was sent 3/24. Could it be it isn't to him yet?

It took my first package 2 1/2 weeks to arrive.

My best advice is - Have Faith. Just do as you're doing and trust that they're going to get there. It could be that it got there, but he's been too busy to write. Or maybe it's waiting for him to come back to camp. But sooner or later he's going to get them and it will be like Christmas.

I put my email address in my letter and my soldier sent me an email.

It was someone I adopted. He serves with another DISer's DH.
