New to the Disney Dining Plan!

Hello,

This is the first time I am considering the Disney Dining plan. Right now, our plans is to stay at the Wilderness Lodge. (It is just me and my bf). I know there's tons of information on this site about it, but its all very overwhelming to me. Can someone give me some basic/background information about it?

The basic Dining Plan comes with 1TS, 1CS and 1 snack per person per night stay. So if the 2 of you stayed 5 nights, you'd each get 5 TS credits, 5CS credits and 5 snacks to use throughout your stay.

TS and CS credits include 1 entree, 1 dessert and 1 drink.

Tax is included in the plan but any tips are not. If you order any extras (sides, appitizers, alcoholic or specialty beverages) then you would pay that OOP.

There is also a QS plan (2CS, 2 snacks and a refillable mug) or a Deluxe plan (3 meals TS or CS, 2 snacks, and a refillable mug).
