New to the dining plan

OK, I'm leaving for Disney this morning !! We have a grand villa at Boardwalk, I have 6 of us booked in the room and I added the dining plan. I got a phone call from an old friend in Florida and she's coming to stay with us from Saturday to Monday. So...can I add her to the plan for 2 days? Is it too late since she's not even on the reservation? Do I not tell them she's staying with us and not put her on the plan at all? Please help...leaving soon!

Call Disney I dont think they would mind taking your money for an extra person for tickets and food...

sorry, everyone must be on the plan for the entire time. If she's not on the reservation she won't get a room key, but if she's on the reservation she'll need to pay for the DDP for the entire time (not just what she's there for)

I think the only way to work it is if she gets her own room & park ticket (for at least one day.) Then she can get DDP.

To get DDP she would have to be on the entire reservation for the same dates as you and the same tickets as you. She can come and stay with you for 2 days but she wont get tickets (unless purchased separately) and NO ddp

True, unless OP is a DVC member. If she got the villa on points, she can add the DDP without purchasing tickets. Her guest would still need to be on the reservation for the entire trip and would still need to pay for the DDP for the entire time of the reservation.

It's only 2 days she could pay OOP. She would just have a seperate check. We have done this many times.
