Hi! I'm new here. I am almost 35 and I have never been to any Disney park. I had never even thought much about it until my daughter (almost 5) went wild for princesses.

So now we're planning a family vacation to Disney World in 2013 (a ways away, I know). At that time, my daughter will be 7 and my son will be 4, so I think it will be a good time. I am familiarizing myself with the different options and I am sure I will have a ton of questions! Looking forward to meeting you all!

Welcome! You are going to love the boards and all the information you will find here!!!

Welcome. This site was invaluable on my first trip!

And I was 43, with a tween and a teen! A whole week, and we didn't get to do all we wanted! So trip #2 is coming up! Believe me Disney is not just for kids, as you will find out here.

We are going back this Spring, will a teen and a college student.

During Christmas Break, I asked the kids about a spring break vacation, and mentioned we could go anywhere.

They answered, you mean Anywhere?

Yes!

I dont know. I may have to work.

I said Anywhere!

What do you mean Anywhere?

Anywhere

Like Could we go back to Disney?

YES!

Can WE go back TO DISNEYWORLD!?

YES!

WE'RE GOING TO DISNEYWORLD!

Booked the trip that week!

I took my child for the first time when he was 10 yo. My sister planned a four day week-end and we stayed at the CBR. I couldn't believe how much had been added, etc. since my last visit 20 years prior.

So his first trip only whet my appetite and I can't get enough since. I have planned several since then, some we have taken and some we haven't. You just never see it all.

Have fun planning you trip, and may I suggest thinking about a segway tour. Your kids will love it.

I recently went to Disney World for the first time at the ripe old age of 31! My husband had been once prior.

Our daughter was 3 during the trip (September) and asks to go back at least 6 days a week! So, DH and I (mostly me) are going to surprise her with a trip for her 6th birthday (January 2013); when were you planning on visiting?

I am also new here and am planning my first Disney vacation for Dec 2011. I am super excited but feeling a bit overwhelmed, there is so much to read, research and think about. I am traveling with my hubby and 6 year old boy/girl twins. We are coming from Canada. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
