New to the board and new to DIS

We are new to SoCal and are looking into the Annual passport but not being very familiar with the park or lingo...I had 2 questions about the annual passport:

1. I can "park hop" between DL and CA Adventure as much as I want in one day or any day with the annual passport, correct?

2. Does the annual passport include the "fastpass"?

Welcome to the boards. To answer your questions, yes, your annual pass includes park hopping privileges. You can hop back and forth all you want, all day.

As far as fastpass, your annual pass works just like a "regular" ticket. You slide it in and out of the fastpass machine, and it will spit out a fastpass.

Yes, the APs include admission to both parks in the same day. Just be aware of blockout dates if you purchase any AP other than premium.

Fastpass is available to anyone with a valid admission to the parks that day. You use your AP in the machines just like you do with a park/park hopper ticket.
