New to Pin Trading-Questions

My DS and I will be arriving at the Contemporary, Friday, the 30th. He is very interested in Pin Ttrading.
My first question is: Today I was at the Dollar Store, and I found Classic Pooh Enamel Pins in a Christmas theme, they are made by Michel & Company, but they are stamped Disney on the back. Are these tradeable? (with CMs?)

Also, Please tell me about your Friday Pin Trading at the Contemporary. We have dinner plans and won't make the beginning, so how long do you usually go til? And where does this take place?

yes, the pins you described are tradeable in WDW. Buy as many as you can. really...... I just got back from WDW and brought about 100 traders with me and ran out. A castmember has to trade with you for any pin on their lanyard if they do not already have yours. We saved alot of money trading for current pins we liked instead of purchasing them. And, we like the thrill of the trade. We got some great pins from the CM's

My sons are 6 and 10 years old. Every day I would give them a few new traders and they would put away their keepers so they would not be tempted to trade them. They loved "lanyard hunting"

We also went to the Contemporary Friday night pin meet. We left about 9:30 and it was still going strong. Everyone was very nice. We didn't have a great collection or any terrific pins for trade, but everyone talked and traded with us anyway. And, they had no problem with my kids being there, everyone was extremely nice to them.
