New to it all

I am new to all of this but have looked at it for years. I am planning a trip in April (1-5) and planned to stay off site but now I am thinking of renting DVC but have no idea where to start. Can anyone help?

If you are serious about your dates, post a thread on the Rent/Trade Board. Read the FAQs at the top of the page. Decide what size villa you need (how many people will you have?). Decide which DVC you want to stay at.

Your dates are going pretty fast right now with that being Spring Break and Easter. So you'll need to decide pretty quickly.

Remember:

This is an arrangement between you and an owner. Disney is not involved in any way. It the arrangement goes South, you will have to resolve it yourself. Disney won't assist.

The owner may require full payment after they make the reservation for you.

They owner might not allow any changes or cancellations. So be certain this is what you really want to do.

And you can really get hooked on DVC by staying in a DVC villa.
