New to Forums

Well it looks as if i'm taking the first few steps to becoming a forum junkie. While I have used forums in the past I have never posted before and have definately never become addicted to them as I intend to be with these.

I should also mention that i'm not only new to the forums but am new to being a geek. While I have always loved Disney I could never really say I was a Disney geek until now. I'm visiting Disneyworld for the 4th time in March but this will be the first time that I will be going as an adult and planning it all myself. It is through planning this 4th trip that I have become a true Disney Geek. I spend hours each day researching which resorts/restaurant/activities are best as well as looking at current and previous (TIMEKEEPER COME BACK!) attractions. I have used mostly Passporter, wdwinfo and allears.net along with disneyworld.com for my information. Oh also wikipedia every now and then for whenever I have an inkling about a certain topic (For all you Canadiens out there did you know that Disney at one point managed the image of our RCMP?). However I do not believe I have reached full geek status just yet. I WANT MORE!!!!

So i was hoping that you fellow disney fans can help a new disney geek get on the right track. Yes i know i know there is a search button up there but I wanted to post my own thread before searching. What I want to know is which sites do you guys and gals use for all disney related information. The type of stuf i'm looking for is reviews, general information, rumors and good forums. Heck any other types of sites related to Disney would be great as well. Well anyway thats all for now. Now i'm off to figure out how to add a signature to my post...

I use allearsnet the dis for all of my disney info. I occasionally surf over to mousesavers.com. On the mainpage here if you click on restaurants you will find a review section for the restaurants. As far as resorts the have a FAQ threads for each.

To add a sig you click UserCP at the top on the left, then in the left column you will see edit signature, "Click On IT", then fill in the info that you want there.

What I want to know is which sites do you guys and gals use for all disney related information. The type of stuf i'm looking for is reviews, general information, rumors and good forums.

First of all, Welcome to the Disboards! I just go to the main list of forums and scroll down...Some of these forums have another set of forums to choose from after you've clicked on it. I've been on here since October and still learn new information every day. Another good book to use is the Unofficial Guide to Disney
