I would like to introduce myself, being as this site is a TON of extremely useful information.
I just booked my OWN first trip to Disneyworld. I went with my father when I was 16 (before I was too old to enjoy it). I am now 24, and I am taking my girlfriend/soon-to-be fiancé there (she has NEVER been to Disneyworld). I WILL be proposing to her on this trip, so I have been painstakingly researching everything to make sure it is the perfect trip.
Having to keep budget in mind, we are staying at Pop Century (I would have loved to stay at a moderate or deluxe, but we had hard time justifying it right now). We will be traveling June 20 June 24 (5 day, 4 night) and purchased the Disney Dining plan. I only purchased 2 magic your way tickets, and am planning on going to the Magic Kingdom and Disney Hollywood studios
A rough itinerary is as follows:
Fri, June 20 plane arrives ~ 12. I imagine not getting to the resort until 2 2:30ish , and hopefully will be able to check in. was planning on just exploring the resort, going for a swim, and then heading over to the Polynesian to explore and have a meal at the Kona Cafe.
NOTE I was torn between the Kona Cafe and Spirit of Aloha Polynesian Luau . Is the show/food worth 2 table service credits?
Sat, June 21 go to the Magic Kingdom, table service dinner at liberty tavern, planning on proposing during wishes somewhere around the castle
NOTE Does anyone know if cinerellas wishing well is available during the fireworks?
Sun, June 22 go to Disney Hollywood Studios, table service dinner at mama Melrose for fantasmic show package
Mon, June 23 resort/exploration day head over to downtown Disney to explore, table service dinner at cap n jacks
Tues, June 24 depart to airport
So that is my trip in a nut shell. If anyone could shed anymore light on my questions, it would be greatly appreciated. I look forward to everyones insights! Thanks!
