New to DISboards

Hello everyone. I'm brand new here so please excuse me if I seem like I don't know what I'm doing. I found this site while doing a search for Disney careers. . . stumbled onto a profile of one of your members who mentioned that she was a Registered Nurse as I am. She suggested I post my question here. I feel really silly, but here it is . . . When I was about eleven years old, my parents and I were visiting my mom's family in the Orlando area. DisneyWorld was just opening and we got to go for opening day. I have been hooked ever since. It was the most magical day of my life. I have been to many of the resorts and cry every when I have to leave. Now, I am 40ish years old and my husband and I will be relocating to the Orlando area and I am looking into fulfilling a life-long dream . . . I wanna work at DisneyWorld!! I have searched Disney Careers but cannot seem to find out how to apply for a position with their medical department. Can anyone out there tell me how to apply, where to send my resume? The Disney Careers website doesn't seem to be much help.

Hi there, welcome to the Dis ! My DS is also interested in working at WDW. In fact, he's obsessed with the idea of becoming an Imagineer ! And although he is only a freshman in HS, we have looked into some of the things necessary to try and achieve this. Try this site. If it does not work, go to the Disney site and type in "Internships".
