I'm going to Disney in September and I'm really unsure about getting around. I really could use some expert help.

I've rented a car from Budget and I am staying at the Liki Tiki Village (formerly the RonJon Resort). They don't have any shuttles to Disney so it looks like I'll be driving each day. So here's my questions.

Where's the best place to park? I want to go to MGM/WDW/Epcot and Animal Kingdom. Friends told me that there are central locations to park and then there are shuttles and Monorails. Is that true?

Also any truth to what I've been told that parking is $5.00 and once you pay it is good for all lots all that day?

I also want to go to the House of Blues? I'm not sure where it is, though.

Any tips on getting around that anyone can provide would be just great. There's only two of us going (me and my mom) and I want things to be really smooth and no fuss for her.

Thanks !!

Probably easiest to park at the lots for each theme park. The MK parking lot is actually called the TTC (Travel & Transporation Center) which is the central location they are talking about. From there you take the monorail or a boat to the MK. You can take the monorail from there to EPCOT but EPCOT has its own lot also.

Think its $6 but yes it is good all day anywhere on Disney property. (Parking anywhere on the property is free for Disney resort guests).

It is in Downtown Disney - West Side. You can park at Downtown Disney for free.

Be sure to check out mousavers.com for information on car rental discounts if you don't already have a discounted rate.

Have a good time.
