Hello, I've been reading your posts and you all seem to be very knowledgable about WDW. My family and I will be making a once in a lifetime trip from Idaho to WDW. We have a room reserved at POFQ for April 23-28th. I see a lot of people are going the week before or just after. Am I missing something about this week in Florida? Is it the only week of guranteed rain? Also does any one have information on Horse back riding? My DD (10) really wants to go.

Thanks for your input.:

Welcome aboard first of all.
Fort Wilderness Campground has horse back riding. My 15 yr old DS went 2 years ago when he was 13 and loved it. You have to be a certain height though so you should check it out ahead of time. My younger son was 6 and not big enough at the time.
Have fun with the trip. There's no place else in the world, literally.
Don't miss Fantasmic at MGM. The best show at Disney IMO.

As far as your timing, you picked a week that does NOT include Easter, so that's great news. Most college and K-12 Spring Breaks are over. You can check on the official Disney website for any activity or special events that might be going on. You can plan your park accordingly. Also check allearsnet.com, it's another informational website that has a calendar of events.

HAVE FUN! :yay: :woohoo:  :dance3: :cheer2: :cool1: pixiedust:
