Hello...I am new to this board and I am having so much fun. My DH of 7.5 years has worked for the Walt Disney Company for the past 24 years. While he started in parades as a chimney sweep and has worked "very" closely with Goofy most of his time has been as a production stage manager in entertainment.
I love Disney (something my Mother instilled in me as a young child). But now that I am a mother myself Disney has taken on a whole new meaning. My DD (4) and I go often to Disneyland but mostly cammando runs while DH is working. However she is getting older and is wanting more of the experience like she had her first trip to WDW last year.
I was looking around the Disneyland site and giggled when I told my DH that I had no idea all that Disneyland had to offer. I knew about Goofys Kitchen and that was about it and even then I never think to go. Amazing how much I took for granted. So now we will be staying 3 days at the Disneyland Grand Resort in December of this year and plan to do it all. But first we are WDW bound Aug. 21 - Aug. 30 2009.
I am learning so much here and I hope this trip is something my daughter will remember for the rest of her life.
