New to AP. How do I find out about freebies and events?

My husband and I have had APs since October but I keep seeing things here and there about AP exclusive freebies, merchandise, and events. How do I get this information? Is there an email I am not getting?

Sign in to your My Disney Experience account on the official Walt Disney World Resort site. Make sure your Annual Passes are linked to your MDE account. Then on the MYDisneyExperience tab click the Annual Passholder selection. You will go to a page that has links to all of the various benefits like Dining, Merchandise, Events, etc.

There are supposed to be periodic emails that go out but many folks, like me, don't get them. There is also a quarterly(?) snail mail pamphlet that is sent out. I get them occasionally.
