After lurking here for a while and under the influence (of friends) we made an offer on a 100 point resale at VWL for 68.00/point. Does receiving the "Buyer Open Escrow" paper mean the Disney did NOT exercise their ROFR?

Congrats on your purchase. My wife and I bought at BCV last August, and are looking forward to a stay at WVL sometime soon. We actually were supposed to finish our first trip "Home" this June with a four day stay at WVL, but had to change to OKW when school snow days forced us to push our trip back by one week. I just received a status letter from Timeshare Closing Services that my closing is complete and waiting for the recording process to complete. I checked the Orange County Comptroller website and the deed has been recorded. I guess now it's just a matter of being added to the MS computer ...

If the deed has been recorded, it's likely you are already in the DVC computer. Just call tomorrow and check.
