4 new tires needed for a Honda Pilot. I can't install them myself. Sam's Club my best option?

I go to Firestone. I have their credit card and I get 6 months no interest so I take the few hundred dollars and spred it out over the 6 months.

A few years ago, we bought tires online. After some shopping around for coupon codes, etc. we found a great price on really good tires (can't remember the brand). They shipped them to our house. We drove to Walmart and had them put on. It ended up saving us a ton of $ and we ended up with much nicer tires.

Bought both winter and all seasons at Walmart last year for great price with no issues (lived in Whitehorse so the winter tires couldn't be crap either). I'd definitely recommend seeing them first!

I buy mine online (Tire Rack) and have them installed in my driveway. We have a local service that comes to the house, mounts and balances them. Much cheaper than a tire store. I used to have a local shop do the installing but the mobile service is even cheaper.

We have ordered ours on tire rack's website and had a family member install them. Huge savings. Also, we heard of an auto salvage company near my parents' house that takes good parts from cars that have been an accidents and re-sells them for a very reasonable price. We got an entire set of tires with lots of tread on them for about $200 installed and they were a name brand.

I just bought new tires at Pep Boys- since I bought them from them last time too, about 5 years ago, and I had some tread on the tires left, they gave me even more of a discount off...I think I paid around $320 for 4 tires. This included installation, disposal of old tires, etc...

There are so many options now at regular tire stores if you don't mind buying tires made in China or Korea.
$100 a piece for your Honda for GT or Kumho brand versus $221 each for BF Goodrich both at America's tire.

If you have a mechanic you trust, check out what they cost to put them on and then order online. I actually have mine shipped directly to them. I use Tire Rack like others have said.

My mechanic was actually the one that suggested it to me. He knows their tire prices aren't the cheapest, lol (and he gets paid by the work, not the tires sold so it doesn't matter to him).

Where ever you buy from make sure they're not "old stock-new tires". Despite them looking like they've never been used (and they haven't) some unscrupulous businesses will sell tires that have been sitting on a shelf for years & the rubber is already old when they're installed.

My ds took a business class in HS & this was one of the topics they discussed. The date of manufacture is on the sidewall along with model #s, recommended PSI, etc.

Our local Toyota dealer said it's a huge business but Toyota's policy is to never keep tires more than 6 mos. or so. They had a 'buy 3, get 1 free' coupon so I got the same tires it came with which gave a nice, smooth ride & good traction.
