I was supposed to buy the adult ticket get a child free deal but i guess i waited too late...my question is...Is it cheaper to buy a ticket with my PAP or to buy the $85.00 ones? how much is an adult ticket with the annual pass discount, anyway?

Thanks for the reply, but i called today and Universal said they did away with the 3 days and kids free a week ago. I guess I snoozed and losed...

If you have AAA the link to the tickets for buy an adult get child free plus 3 days is working as of right now! I just ordered 2 of them. It wasn't working last night, but this morning it worked! I got my confirmation, now I'm just hoping I won't have problems when I get to Universal to pick up the tickets. I'm so glad I got them! It saved $140 plus tax! I was kicking myself for not getting them earlier!

We did not get our tickets ordered in time and after reading your post we went to AAA and got ours. When are you going? We are going Thanksgiving week. Whoever goes first can report back if there was any problems. Thanks for saving us the money.

Yes, it was the AAA site. My daughter just joined AAA last month. Every time we travel we say we need to join. We went to the diamond field over Labor Day weekend and finally took the time to join because the motels down there all had AAA rates. We have more than gotten our money back now.

Thanks to the posts. DH has been sitting on his behind and didn't order the tickets. He was peeved when he saw the sale for the buy an adult get a kid free as there are 12 of us going. He took the advice and used the AAA link and received confirmation for 3 adults with the 3 kids free. The others we will buy at the new promotion price of $85. Saved some $$$$. We'll be at RPH for Turkey dinner.

Glad to hear you got in. Now TECHNICALLY I think US owes us some $$$! The link says save $15 with AAA. Well the gate price on those tickets was $109, so we should be paying $95. I figured I am greatful to have gotten these tickets at all so I haven't complained, but it is misleading.

I spent 61.00 on the membership plus an adult ticket for 99 (which is 106.45 with tax). thats 167.45. but 2 85.00 tickets would cost me 170.00 plus some tax. that means im only saving about 13.00. Well, im hoping that AAA will save me some money in other ways over there.

If you are going to be staying at any hotels anywhere in the next year, you will probably get your money's worth. AAA offers great discounts on hotels and amusement park tickets.

Are you close to New Orleans? We are also from the area - North of Slidell and are going to WDW/US over Thanksgiving. The kids and us can't wait with the way the last year has been. We have found the AAA to be great as besides helping several times over the years on car emergencies, we have used it for discounts on hotels from 5 star hotels in Canada to the Holiday Inn in New Orleans. It does quickly pay for itself besides providing assistance. Hope you find it of value.

Im about 2 hours from NO...just east of Lafayette. Were also going over Thanksgiving. Were staying at RPR the Thurs and Fri., but offsite the Wed and Sat...so hopefully AAA will save me something on the offsite hotels.
