Just upgraded my BC ressie for June and saved 25%. No AP discounts. :confused3

Value=15%
Moderate=20%
Deluxe=25%

Copied off Disney website:

Act Now–Save up to 25% on Summer Stays!

Take advantage of this offer and start planning a summer vacation in the middle of the magic. With great nightly rates at Walt Disney World Resort, your family can do it all—or simply relax by your Resort hotel pool and linger longer in paradise.

Thanks for posting this. We are going June 23rd-30th and have not received a Pin so hopefully this works for us!! I just emailed by TA and can't wait to hear back form her!!!

i check in august 10th and check out august 19th....does this mean i miss both promos?

I believe that you would get a discount on the room from August 10-14. You would still pay regular rate for the room from the 15-19.

So there won't be any AP discounts? I think my DU agent got a 5% discount for us at WL. Why so little at WL and 25% at other deluxe resorts? Boo....

Maybe AP rates will come out later this week and be a little more substantial....

Are the days of 35 & 40% long gone? I haven't seen them in a while (but admit haven't kept as close a watch as I used to), and don't think I've received a PIN in almost 2 years :sad1:

I just saw that Disney just posted that for $69 dollars per person Per dy stay and play you can stay With a 6 night 7 day magic your way package at All Star Sports.

Any discount is good for me. Disney keeps saying how they are doing away with discounts. I adjusted my high season, room only reservation, this morning.

I think 25% is pretty good, but of course that's only for the deluxe resorts and they have such a high price point to start with. I wish I could remember the BB promo in our room in early March but it still wasn't a promo I thought was worthwhile for us. Translate into....we still couldn't afford it, lol.

I think it's great that they are still willing to do summer discounts at all, so it's not really "measly" because it's better than nothing. The days of 35% and 40% used to be for the times when they needed to fill rooms. They usually don't need to fill them in the summer, so I'm happy to see that they did this.

BUT - my vacation is August 14-22. Is this considered SO busy that they don't need to offer anything?? Free dining starts on 8/25, I don't quite understand why the two weeks between the discounts are "no discount time" between the two promos.

I'm okay because I got a AAA discount that is the same as the GP offer of 20% on the cabin, but it just doesn't make sense to me why those two weeks are excluded from any discounts.

Just checked our dates for the end of June and the discounts are really pathetic. "Up to 25%." Ha! I know the value resorts are only up to 15%, but Pop is only 5%. :confused3 I'm sure it's because everyone wants to stay close to the new AoA resort, but still.

So I checked POFQ, which is supposed to be "up to 20%," and got a whopping 5% off, but only if we stay in the river view (most expensive) rooms. So it's actually $20 a night cheaper to stay in a standard room at rack rate than to take the huge summer discount and stay in the river view rooms. :rotfl2:

I'm a little puzzled about the passholder discounts, too. The current passholder discounts end June 14, but they must be booked by June 14. Does this mean they won't release passholder discounts for after June 14 until after June 14? That seems a little strange.

As for the week before and after August 17 being excluded from both the summer room discount and free dining, remember that last year's bounceback free dining offer began on August 17, so they may have already filled the rooms during that time to their satisfaction.

I was so excited when I saw the new room discount offers this morning. I'm staying at WL in a deluxe club level room 6/27 through 7/1. It's pretty pricey so I've been really hoping for a good discount to come out. I called this morning to get the discount applied to my reservation and it turns out that I could only get 5% even it says on the website the discounts are from 15% to 25%. I've read quite a few other posts and so for it doesn't seem like anyone is getting 25%. Really disappointed!

I got 20% off a king room at POR in July. It still worked out to be cheaper than rack rate in a standard room. It looked like the lowest rates for mods were at CBR.

We are DVC so don't need this promo, but checked for a few colleagues who are planning trips, and I can't make sense of it either.

Got good rates for Values (All Star Music/Movies) $69.00/night, and Moderates (Caribbean Beach & PO) $131-150/night for several nights in June and August.

Deluxe/DVC room rates were all over the place, and way high! I swear some are higher than rack rates from when I price checked yesterday.

The promo link at the of this page is advertising Moderates as low as $78 day and Deluxes $95. I don't see how this is possible, as I plugged in many dates, and none of those numbers came up at all.

I find the info on this promo to be very confusing, Tiger

No complaints here! I was starting to think there would be no discount, and made prep before booking to plan to pay rack rate. Now I save $700, every little bit counts.

When I called to apply the discount they didn't have any preferred rooms left at POR. I was given a gardenview instead. I love the savings but now I am second guessing my decision. We have stayed preferred at POR everytime except once and we did not enjoy being so far away from everything. But I couldn't pass up the savings.

Do you think the 5% at some of the deluxes is a mistake? A computer glitch? I got 5% off at WL. Woop-de-doo. Oh well....it is still a little better than nothing.
