New stroller location - hours?

It is my understanding that the stroller rentals are now located OUTSIDE of the gates so that you have to rent your stroller before going into the park(s). Is this correct?

If so, does anyone know the hours of the rental facility? So on a Monday, which is usually an EE day, if normal opening hour is 9am, and EE opening hour is 8am, would the rental facility be open BEFORE 8am? What about non-EE days? Thanks!

We were there March 10-13. They still had rentals inside the gates. You could take the stroller out, and across to the DCA-which was new for us. I'm guessing if they have moved some out of the park, there will still be in park options. I can't imagine them making everyone exit to get a stroller.

In what is turning into a regular crowd control effort, Disneyland has once again removed stroller, wheelchair, and ECV rentals from both Disneyland and DCA and temporarily into the esplanade. So for the time being, if you're going to be renting any of these, make sure you do it before actually entering a park or you'll need to exit and then get back in line after arranging your rental.

The current move to the Esplanade is expected to last until May 6, at which time rentals will move back into both parks. Rentals will then return to the Esplanade around Memorial Day for the summer season, returning back to the individual parks after Labor Day. It can probably be expected that the cycle will repeat with the holiday season two months later. The Esplanade solution has proven to be convenient and successful with guests and cast members, especially for the crowded area around the right tunnel into Disneyland. Here's hoping that eventually this change is made permanent."

Last Saturday we were told that they move the stroller rental outside only on days they expect to be very busy. The stroller rental was set up to the right of the Disneyland entrance gates (when you are facing the gates) in a large white tent. That day we got there around noon and entered DL. Once inside we saw a sign that said the stroller rental was located outside. We noticed a CM near at an open gate holding a stack of blue papers. When my husband asked her about the stroller rental she handed him a paper and let him go through the open gate. She told him to return to the gate with the blue paper and then he could re-enter there.

So I would say if you see that white tent set up the stroller rental is likely outside. And you can get your stroller before you enter.
