new stove, glass top vs. coil

Love my glass top and would never go with coils again! I found it very easy to cook on and even though it requires some cleaning, it is no where near the amount of time that the coils take! The hardest thing to get used to is the cool down time but you get used to looking for the sensor light to go off...it tells you when the top is cool.

I love my glass top and would never go back to ordinary burners! I guess I am a careless cook and have pans boil over a lot, and it is a million times easier to wipe up a smooth glass top than to have to remove the burners and clean up under them.
I don't understand why folks think glass is hard to keep clean. i buy cooktop cleaner at the grocery store and it works great!
My stove is 15 yo and going strong (still looks new!)
