New staff game coming on Oct. 30th

When: Sunday October 30, noon and 10:00pm (Eastern)
Where: VMK Prize Machine (Guest Room)
What: Spin the Random Number Generator and win a prize. Yes, it really is that simple. No questions to answer, no rooms to decorate. Just show up, spin it, and win it!

I played this game that staff (I don't recall who it was) was running in a pirate prison room. A CL was there too (again, don't recall who it was). Must have been a test run. Anyway, the prizes I saw given were: credits, a pumpkin light, a candy cauldron, or no prize at all -- depending on what number comes up on the generator. I rolled a 6 and won a candy cauldron. Seems the lower numbers, 1, 2 and 3, were "no wins." The prize was immediately put into my inventory -- no trading was involved. Great game. Staff said to come back and play as often as we liked. The queue for the room was running about 20 people. Hope VMK has multiple rooms running this game, as I'm sure it will be a huge hit!

I really hope they DO make lots of rooms for this so it's not a huge fiasco like the maze event was...

i saw VMK_Babs and VMK_Phinny setting it up this morning.It looks a lot like hit the floor out the door.

The setup I saw was just a long line, starting at the room entrance, for the queue framed up with the rope room dividers. There was a turnstile at the end of the line. One person at a time was let through the turnstile into an area with a gold generator. That was it. Oh, and the staff person was in a chair on other side of the room, "barricaded" with the spider web dividers. There were a few mickey ear pumpkins for decoration.

I can see it now, unless they have a lot of room set up for this and why can't they? The lines are going to b e LONG! For free stuff people come out of the woodwork!

I think this is designed to allow people to quickly enter and exit a room: the maze event meant that you had to wait ages to get in due to the fact that they made the line go so slow!
