I was able to snag a small add-on through Disney at WLV for the now-extinct price of $84. I paid the downpayment, and have signed the paperwork and written out the check for the balance. I was planning to send everything in today, but I can't stop thinking about the new SSR offer. My "master" plan is to purchase 150 more points over the next 5 years or so, for cash, in increments of 25-50 points at a time. But the AP incentive, along with the $5 or $10 off, and the realization that DVC points will definitely go up in price in the near future has me thinking bigger. If I use the money I have in hand for the downpayment on 130 SSR points, I will get 2 AP's, and not have a payment due until April, 2005. Also, dues will be deducted beginning in April, 2005. Am I right so far? Since I have a Dec. use-year, if I take the $10 off per point, I will not have points until Dec., 2006. Is this correct? Could I borrow the 2006 points to use sometime after Dec.1, 2005, but before Nov.30, 2006? If I can borrow the new points, the $5 off per point would be better for us, since the whole reason I am adding-on now is to have a few extra points for a trip in June, 2005. Does this rambling make sense? I prefer asking here before I call my guide(who is no longer Tink, but the same Lost Boy I've always had;) )Thanks!
