Have you ever used this product? It stings a bit when you first put it on because it contains an antiseptic as well, but I love it!! So much better than a bulky band-aid - especially on your fingers..:goodvibes

oh my gosh, I first used that back in the 80's! being a hairdresser back then, that is what we used!...otherwise we would just cut the bandages off.

I agree it works well, but it stinks!

Reminds me of nail polish - or nail polish remover - but I would much rather deal with that than a band-aid on my finger.. LOL..

I've been using it for years, but in the past couple years they must've changed something cause it doesn't work as well as it used to. I put it on splits on my fingers and within a day, the newskin has split!

Although this is probably bad for your health, I now just use clear nail polish, I only need one or two coats and it lasts (as long as I don't pick it). Takes the pain of a finger split away after the initial sting.

It stung and burned like the heat of a thousand suns the one time I used it (on a blister that had rubbed through and then completely off, so it was new, raw skin) and I have refused to touch it since. However, I love Nexcare Liquid Bandage. I've used it on identical types of wounds as the one I used New Skin on and I've never felt a thing. It is WONDERFUL.
