Venturing to DCA and found out there are a lot of new shows since I was there 14 months ago and was wondering if anyone could comment on them.

The different between Playhouse Disney and Disney Junior

Pixar Pals with Monster Inc. and The Incredibles

Phineas and Ferb Rockin and Rollin Party

Tron thing going on at night

Little Mermaid Ride

Disney Channel Rocks

Disney Dance Crew

(a former student of mine is in the last two)

Just wondering if anyone can comment on them
I do have a 6 year old (and husband) with me that I am sure would enjoy alot of this

Disney Junior is the exact same as Playhouse Disney except it has Jake & the Neverland Pirates instead of Pooh.

Phineas & Ferb is really cute - it's kind of like the green army men show - they roll up on a float type thing. It's fun and high energy with lots of kid participation.

Little Mermaid is cute, not exciting, but fun. It's a dark ride, kind of similar (IMO) to Pooh's honey pots or IASW. Never had a long line while we were there (longest posted was 15 minutes) and a nice way to get out of the heat/crowds.

I am sure someone else can comment on the rest - we only briefly stopped by the Tron thing at night - it was still pretty early and the kids hula hooped. I haven't heard of Pixar Pals and am hoping we didn't miss it when we were there in August because that sounds fun, whatever it is! :)

Playhouse Disney/Disney Jr -- we hadn't been in a couple years, but just went to Disney Jr-- they added Jake & the Neverland Pirates characters.

Pixar Pals is a quick street party with some audience participation; they asked a couple adults to do silly things to make the kids laugh.

Phineas & Ferb is fantastic, but we're big P&F fans! All kids who want to can dance, parents can join in if they want -- including hoola hooping!

Tron is most fun when they're doing the street games, but we haven't always seen them running. If no games, it's basically just clubby dance areas, the arcade (80s classic games!) and light up drink$$.

Little Mermaid is fun if your 6 is a girl :) Don't wait for more than 5 min--if the line backs up for some reason just go back a bit later and it will probably have cleared out.

Disney Channel Rocks -- I think that's the one that's near where WOC shows -- if so, they were making all the kids sit on their bottoms -- not rocking! -- so my kids wanted to leave. This was a few months ago; they may have changed the participation?

Disney Dance Crew -- Is that the one near Monsters Inc ride where Drawn To the Magic used to show? Haven't seen the show but caught Mickey in workout gear a couple times at the stage, so we're assuming he's part of that show.
