Hello Brides!!! Ahhhh it seems like only yesterday I was on today's bride talking about my plantaition wedding on New Years Eve in 2001. Well, that didn't last!!! Now, I am getting married again to the one I should have married in the first place. My love since I was 12 years old. I am sooooooooooooo excited. Here is my problem though. My parents shucked out close to 30,000 dollars for my first wedding and needless to say we are having to pay for this one. I don't work and my fi is a supervisor for Abita Springs Water in the Metairie office. We want an all inclusive five day wedding and honeymoon is disney. I was hoping some of you ladies could share what you are paying or what you did pay and what was included, web-sites, etc. I would really appreciate any help. Thanks

Well I am not a bride, but I figure I could respond. We are getting married in September also, who doesn't love a hot sticky Louisiana afternoon. We are staying at Saratoga Springs for five nights with the DM with Romance Plan package and paying close to $3000 without airfare. I am hoping for some codes to come out in May for September stays so we can extend our HM to 7 days.

Of course you can go a cheaper route or more expensive route, a 1BR at SSR isn't cheap, but it is cheaper than some of the rooms at GF and WL. If you want all inclusive, I think the only option for that is the DM with Platinum plan, but from what I hear, it is not worth it. Who really eats 3 full meals a day and will take advantage of tennis and boats and all the other stuff. If you don't want to bother with having to spend money while there, that may be the route to go.

Go to disneyworld.com and lay out what you want and it will shoot out a price for you. Its a good way to compare. Luckily September is Value season, so you can t get better prices on rooms.

Thanks so much for your advice. What we were also thinking of doing is just having the wedding there and using my parents condo, but I am not sure if that would be any cheaper because I think in order to get married at Disney you have to be staying in one of their resorts. The last time I went to dw we stayed at the condo for free, spent 400.00 on dw tickets and about 1000.00 on food and drinks!! That is nuts. We ate out at least two meals a day and fed the seagulls the food we had in the fridge. I like eating at the resturaunts in dw though. Italy is my favorate and France is a close second. I am not sure where all of you are from but I thought it was so funny that all the other resturaunts were super nice and when you get to the U.S. it was pizza, hot dogs and burgers and fries. How typical. hehe. Well once again thanks for your advice.
