New Room styles and rehab at CBR

Jim Hill has pictures up of new room styles at CBR.
Nemo, Dory and friends are now in the decor as well as 'Under-the-Sea' or 'watery' curtains. New flat screens and other enhancements are taking place as well with the rehab.
He is also reporting that the REFRIGERATORS are being REMOVED!!!
What up with that? I hope he is incorrect.
He also is stating that CBR might have pirate themed rooms and family suites in the Trinidad section as well.

Arrrgh! It looks like Cap'n Jack will have a place to stay when he's not plundering the till in the Utilidors.


Sounds really good except for the fridge part. Hopefully they are just replacing fridges. Anyone know more?

We loved CBR. My DS's favorite. He will be 8 on our next trip so if they are providing Pirate theme rooms we might just have to save up for a theme room. Don't mind the "Nemo" rooms. We love color and bright rooms but two thumps down on taking away the frig.

Ick. Don't get me wrong, I love Nemo. But ick. I liked CBR the way it was. I liked the theme-ing of it. The Pirates suites make sense. Nemo does not.

I actually called Disney about this one because I am staying at CBR in Sept and was going to be one unhappy camper if there were no fridges. The man I spoke to said that he could not comment on the redesign of the rooms but could guarantee me that the fridges would still be there.

Yes. A member of the DisBoards and the keeper of the CBR thread has wandered over there and taken photos through the windows of some of the Nemo rooms.

That doesn't make much sense to make the rooms Nemo- Nemo is from Australia not the Carribean.
