I read a small artical about a new coaster opening next year. Can anyone give me details? My kids are dying to know.

Thanks for the info. My daughter just read the artical and cant wait to ride it.

I read that it's loosely based on 'Hollywood The Ride' at Universal in Japan (you can search for it on youtube to get an idea what it's like). You'll be able to select a music track thats played from speakers in your head rest whilst you ride, and the best bit is that the coaster leaves the park and goes into City Walk. Can't wait :)

It should be VERY interesting...I can't wait to see the construction progress.

We were at Sea World last week. They are building a new roller coaster as well. Something about a sting ray. It's a lay down coaster.

Competition is GOOD,apparently Disney is going forward with an indoor suspended coaster at Hollywood Studios. All these projects at the other Orlando parks probably have something to do with it.

So annoyed that we're going to be slightly too early for The Manta. I adore flying rollercoasters. Air at Alton Towers is my fave ride EVER. For those who have never ridden a flying rollercoasters they're amazing, not too intense and so much fun. Although first ride you'll be convinced your going to fall out

I see Rockit's due to open Spring 2009 - so will it be open for March/April?

From what I've heard Manta will probably be a bit less intense than other flying coasters out there.I've been on Superman Ultimate Flight at Six Flags the one element of the ride that I did find pretty intense was the loop where with the nature of the ride where you are laying down during the loop there seemed to be extra pressure on your chest area, aside from that the ride was pretty fun and not very intense.
