new rewards visa question?

so, i am going to disney dec. 13-17 and have already paid for my trip in full. we also purchased the dining plan. i knew there was a free-dining for rewards visa holders but i applied for one beg. of last year and did not get approved so i knew we couldn't use the discount.
well, i received an email from disney asking me to re-apply for a card and i got approved instantly?
now i am upset b/c my trip is paid for but i would like to get the free dining if i can...i was wondering if anyone had ever gotten credited for a deal like this?

also, since i don't have my card yet (could take 2 weeks to 30 days), would i even be able to use it or would i have to wait until i have it?

I read in the thread below that they will credit back your original $200 deposit and then recharge it on your Disney Visa Card and if there is availability you should be able to use the code for free dining. They would then credit you back the money that you saved. You might have to call Disney Visa to get your new cc#.

We upgraded to a mod the when the general code came out in August and saved $100 over a budget and then were able to apply the Disney free dining code and saved another $467!

We booked at All Stars Movies and called when the deal came out. Although space was no longer available at that resort, we were bumped up to Port Orleans Riverside, got free dining and our $2900 trip without dining went to $2300 with Dining!

Try it...the worst they can say is no! Good Luck!
