Has anyone eaten there yet? (I know its fairly new)..I heard you can create your own dinasours there as well.

Is it offered under the Dining Plan??

We ate there in January! It is very much like the Rainforest Cafe. In fact it is owned by the same comapny. It was okay. I have nothing bad to say about it - it was just okay. No it is not on the DDP! An OOP cost for our family of four was about $60 including tip. A fun experience for one time but we probably won't do it agin. We didn't do the make your own dino thing but yes it is there and I believe it starts at around 10 dollars just for the smallest dino! :goodvibes

It is owned by Landry's, who owns Rainforest Cafe. You can use your Safari Card, but you can't use Priority Seating there. As mentioned, it is not on the DP.

We are possibly trying it out in July, Tiger :)

We ate lunch there about 3 weeks ago.

It is not under the DDP. But they do offer a discount if you are a DVC member or an AP member. Both are 10% off.

The build a dinosaur is the same type of thing as the Build a Bear. The prices are reasonable. However, we didn't get one. My daughter was so scared of the dinosaur in the front, she couldn't think about getting anything.

Also, just wanted to comment that it is loud in certain rooms. We asked for a location that's the least amount of noise (probably impossible), but we sat near the aquarium and when the meteor shower (every 20 mins, I believe) occured, it wasn't too bad. Also, the food portion is LARGE. We decided that the next time we go, we'll be sharing.

There is also a little place where they can dig for dino bones. The entrance is a little difficult to find, it's immediately to the right when you enter the shop.

We went there twice last November and loved it!

We also thought the food was fantastic, plentiful and a good variety. A little pricey, but heck it's Disney.

We plan on going there again this November. Thumbs up from us... :thumbsup2

We were there in February....food was decent...we were in the ice cave...found it was neat for a while, but was way too dark...fun experience, but probably won't go back....however, I think a couple of young boys would have a ball
ps. even though we didn't sit there, the bar looked really cool...especially the octopus on the ceiling

Didn't eat there but walked through......too loud for me....I guess the novelty has worn off after 11 years of Rainforest Cafe, so even though it is new, it's familiar. We did build a dino (even though dd is almost 16 she can't resist Build a Bear). His name is Kron.....he is dressed like an explorer..... canvas hat, shoes, vest, backpack, and smaller dino in his backpack (no pants...they made his thighs look big)....sum total for the thrill.....48.00 US....cheaper than Build a Bear at Vaughn (usually spend 80$ per animal) and he is really cute. Nice experience but we were there during the meteor showers as well...kinda loud....still pretty cool. Kids will love it :thumbsup2

We just went today and loved it. It is very similar to Rainforest Cafe, which my kids also love, but we really enjoyed this place better - maybe because it's new. Mine at 11 and 7 and both thought it was "way cooler." I don't see that it's anymore pricey than anything else at Disney. Family of four was $62 for lunch - about normal, I thought.
