New Refillable mug designs at POP and AS

Thought I'd post this here and see if someone decides to move it somewhere else.

Just returned from a weekend trip, stayed at POP, arrived on Saturday and discovered that instead of the cool tie dyed mugs they had YOAMD 2007 blue mugs with the main characters on them. All tall style and no small, short style in sight. Asked when they arrived and was told that they just got there and they also were at the All Stars! There were a lot of tie dyed mugs in the food court as well, like they had just started selling the new ones because some people in the groups had one and oter in the same group had the other.

So I went on a hunt to see if that was true that the AS had the same mugs and yes, all of the All Stars have the same mugs as POP. There appear to be 3 colors of handles, black, blue, and silver. Just for fun I checked the deluxes to see if they got the new mugs as well, but MARA, Captain cooks, and the Food and Fun center had their own specific short small mugs.

So, Disney is making changes again to make the values all the same I guess.

We were just at AKL last week and they had their own. I probably would have liked the YOAMD mug because I was sorta disappointed that the one at AKL didn't have any characters on them. We are staying at POP in June so I'll be curious to see if those are the ones they have. I do like the short ones better than the tall ones. We have one of both from ASMu and ASMo.

Sounds like they are cool looking Great new souvie. I love my tye dye mugs. I use them all the time, like right now.

I am so happy to hear this! I wish all resorts would change their mugs every year.

If anyone has any pictures, I'd love to see the new mugs. Thanks!

ETA: I've been thinking about the new mugs. While I like the idea of mug changes, I do hope that not all mugs are all value resorts become identical. The Pop mug should still have "Pop Century" on it somewhere. But, I am glad that the characters are on the new mugs. : )

I agree. I think of my mug as a souvenir of the resort I staed at, so I don't want a generic one.

You can upload the pics to photobucket.com. Once there, it will give you the codes. You can just copy the imgage code

You need to save them online first. Go to a host website for hosting pictures photobucket, imageshack, etc

upload the picture from your computer, then get the IMG url for it and put it in your signature (the site will provide it. It think I just copied and pasted it).

Wow, sounds good! Maybe this means that you can use one mug at all of the values sometime in the future!

As for uploading your photos...

1) Upload to www.photobucket.com

2) Use the direct link if you want to show a large picture, or one of the thumbnails if you want to show a slightly smaller pic that will appear online

Can you tell I am not a professional photographer by my prop and use of refrigerator as a background? The front has the 2007 and Millions dreams logo but I don't want to make a huge message so you'll just have to imagine it is here. Thanks for the help on getting pictures in here.

Thanks for posting the pics Ali, the mugs are very cute!!! By the way, is the black handled mug suppose to have a black lid or did it come with a blue lid as shown? I like the blue lid on the mug much better than I like the black handle.

I don't drink soda so I rarely buy one.

However, I think they are so cute I just might buy one as a souvie for my 5 year old grandson.

They will look just like that and still stay 2007 at least until july/august since they seem to have so much trouble with getting mugs. I think I remeber several resort still using and Epcot mug or something like that
