New question about EMN

Hi all,
I have been reading a long time, but never posted before!

I am going to WDW in two weeks, and I have a question about Extra Magic Nights at AK. I have been to WDW several times, but not since they started the EMN. My question is- can you leave the park during EMN and come back before the park closes, or do you have to stay in once you are there? Reason I ask is because we are anxious to do AK at night, but also want to eat at Jiko. We are trying to figure out if we can leave the park to eat, and still come back in after we get our armbands.

Sorry to ask about a much discussed topic, but I couldnt find my answer here anywhere!!

I was at MGM's EMH last night, it was 9 to 12. When I left about 10:20 people were still coming in.
