New PS policy--questions for DVC owners

I have been out of touch for a little while (with my new baby girl!!!) so I may have missed this discussion--BUT-- I read somewhere that people who book vacation packages through Disney will now have priority for booking PS at 180 days out while everyone else will have to use the old guidelines (of 120, 90 or 60 days out) inculding Character meals. Well--doesnt this totally screw DVC owners who will most likely NEVER purchase packages? How will we ever get ressies for Cinderella's breakfast? am I missing something here??? This really aggravates me and I HOPE this isnt true.... I am in the process of putting together the details for our first trip with Baby in January 2004 to the Boardwalk Villas and was counting on taking her to breakfast in the castle... I will be really disappointed if we are unable to do so becuase of this new policy.

I read a post not long ago that the policy is 90 days for ALL on-site guests, including DVC. That the 180 priority for packages "didn't fly".

WDW got so many complaints form DVC members, annual passes owner and some of there other BEST customers - that they changed their minds. (some WDW resort guest only use their own travel agency - and these are people who go annually)

EVERYONE nows gets the 90 days.

I won't have mind if all the on-site guest (which would have included DVC's) would have the 180 days - but to say only a certain group got them was so unfair and unreasonable that WDW decided to go with everyone at 90 days.

Speaking of any other remember when DVC got to make dinner reservations at 6 months out - you make them through MS not the Disney Dinning - but it was great while it lasted it....
