Just curious. Has anyone gone to the new Princess room at the ToonTown Fair. Do you get to take a picture with every princess in the room? Do they let you in one family at a time? I don't have much experience with the characters because the times we went, it was just me and my husband. This time we will be taking our DD who is going to be 3. I appreciate your input.princess:

Where did you hear/read about the Princess room? I haven't read about it yet. Do you know any more details like which princesses are supposed to be there?

Haven't seen it yet, but I'd imagine it's like the character lines that they have at Animal Kingdom-the princesses more than likely rotate every 1/2 hour-hour and you wait in line to meet & greet them (photos too).

Tracey :)

Just there last week. The Princess room is just like the other two rooms at Mickey's ToonTown Fair. You will get time with each Princess/character in the room for pictures & autographs. The rooms will have 3-4 characters and you will know who is in what room at the start of the line.

We went to a different room but the Princess room had Cinderella, Susie & Perla when we were there. I'm sure they rotate the Princesses. One more thing, the Princess line was longer than the other two rooms but was about 20 min.

Once you are let into the room a line forms in front of each character so every child has a chance to pose with each character.

Thanks everyone for the info!! Everyone on these boards are so helpful!:teeth:

Yes - you do get to see each character. We were there last week and they had Cinderella, Perla, and Ariel! I was so excited to see Ariel!. She was sitting on a big rock, so she didn't walk around, but the kids could get up close to her to give her a hug, take a picture, etc.

Maybe its just me, but what the heck are the princesses doing in Toontown Fair? How does that fit into the theme of the area? I hate when Disney pulls stuff like this. Have they rethemed the area or just plopped the princesses into an area where they don't belong?

disneysteve, why is Funship Freddie the shape of the letter Y? He should be an F for Freddie or C for Carnival.

He's shaped like the smokestack of the Carnival ships.

from what I understand it is the same set up as they had before there. Cinderella and the mice have been in one room for at least 2 years. So no new theming just dedicating it to the princess where other princesses can be there too. Not just Cindy.

We got those 3 too! We were there 10/5. It was a big surprise to see Ariel. DD was very excited!

And I think its a good place to put them. It gives you an easy place to see them w/out having to get PS for CRT, or them being outdoors and needed frequent breaks. I know TOONTOWN is for toons.. but they are cartoons too, right?

I was under the impression that since Ariel's grotto is being re done that it is only temp. Cindy and the mice have always been in toontown.

I can kind of understand if it is a temporary thing until another area gets rehabbed, though it is still somewhat out of theme.

As for Cindy and the mice, I'm quite certain they haven't always been there. I honestly haven't gone to Toontown the past couple of trips, but I know it used to just be Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto and Donald back there.

I need a refresher since I haven't seen Sleeping Beauty in a very long time ..... what's her real name? and who is Perla?

Sleeping Beauty's name is Aurora.

Perla is one of the girl mice from Cinderella. :) She is in a purple/pinkish dress.

Sleeping beauty's name is princess Aurora. I dont know who the other character is. By the way aren't all these characters cartoons? Where else do they fit but toontown.
