Hooray!!!! Thanks for posting!!! I noticed the calander was up the other day but you couldn't select the dates. We're going Sunday the 6th November most probably and prices are up up to then. £732 for 4 nights at the Sequoia or £656 for the Cheyenne. Is it just me or does that sound quite steep for 30% off?? I thought maybe it was because the arrival day is a Sunday it was more but it's the same if we arrive on the Monday. We paid £470 in October with 40% off. As it's so far away it doesn't matter quite so much, just excited that we can book!!! :cheer2::cheer2:

Tempted to book and pay deposit though and just amend it if a better offer comes up! lol

yes - prices r higher, as its quoting me for 378 for 1a 2c, and we paid 393 for 2a 2c with 40% off...... except, we have to pay more this yr as ds1 is no longer under 7, hes now 7 boooooooooooooo hooooooooooooo lol so thats an extra 100 lol

aw, we would be paying more if we were going Eurostar again as Skye turns 4 in March but I think Chris is planning on driving this time!! eeek! lol

Doesn't apply for the Cheyenne obviously but quite cheekily on the other hotels it now brings up the more expensive room option first so £732 price for Sequoia is for a Montana room, you have to select a lodges room and it takes off £32. Likewise for the Newport Bay, it automatically selects an Admirals Floor room. Makes business sense though I suppose!!

The new brochure is available for download now as well! There seems to be a lot of updating done to it as the hotel pages are all changed and they have highlighted that suites are available - will need to stalk the travel agents now coz the kids like to have a paper one to look at. Judging by the prices though it doesn't look like we will get until next winter again - unless they have a 50% off sale!

I now have two over 7's to pay for but at £132 each less 40% I don't think it is bad value - around £79 for 3 nights - thats in HNY! Have just over a year before they will all be over 7 think will be going for the Jan - March and kids under 12 free then!

woohoo im desperate to book for our trip in Sept, I was wondering if the prices im getting on the dlp website are minus the 30% or do i need to take that off? If not i may just wait for the 40% offer because for 6 nights 7 days at the cheyenne for 2 adults and 2 kids (1 over 7 :sad1: lol) is working out at 1019.90 :scared1:

You should be able to see if you've had the % taken off, in the column giving details its about halfway down.
I'm just off to check what prices are like for my dates in June....but pretty sure we'll still be going to the Kyriad

yes - just noticed that all hotels give u a higher option of room - so u need to go into the room types to change - even at cheyenne - so i can reduce my price by 25 for having a 'normal' room lol

omg just not sure what to do - as also found flight prices are out now too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

how is a person supposed to make a proper decision?? i have itchy fingers..... lol

Do you have to buy the park tickets seperately for the kyriad? Or are they included?

Thanks :)

Ooh I've got itchy fingers too! Although I definitely won't book until I get back from this next trip
:rotfl:
The prices aren't as drastically different from Kyriad option as I thought they would be, which puts me back in a quandry! If 40% off ever reappears then we might even be better off in the Cheyenne. I'm going to get an AP in June regardless, and the price for 1 person for 2 nights (30% off) is £263...only about £20 more than staying in the Kyriad and getting 3 day ticket for my BF.

You could book through Disney and then get park tickets included, but this is probably a very expensive option. What many people do is stay offsite e.g. in the Kyriad, booking through an external website such as Expedia, and buy park tickets separately. This is a particularly good idea if getting (or already have) an annual pass, which I am planning on getting next June. But my boyfriend will just be getting passes for our stay, so I'm taking the costs of this into account when pricing it up.
Hope that helps!

This is VERY sneaky of Disney automatically giving you the "upgraded" rooms - most people wouldn't notice this to change it.
I don't like that they've done that, I know they're a business etc etc but that's pretty horrible of them.

I've been looking at the full prices in the brochure and they don't seem to be too much more than last year. May half term last year would have cost £1143 and the same week next year would be £1187 if our youngest hadn't now turned 3 so we need 2 rooms!

With them already offering 30% off do you think they will still bring out another offer later on?

Might try & slot a trip in next year. I'm doing Florida though & possibly Boston. Will ned to see if I can get the overtime at work:thumbsup2

going on the last couple of years, I'd say the chances are good that there will be other offers on, once the current one ends.

So that just leaves the million dollar quesiton - will we be better off with 30% off now or whatever offer they bring out next? (I'm not actually expecting anyone to be able to answer that one :rotfl2:)

I think I might just toss a coin. :goodvibes

The way I look at it is, I have a budget for accommodation at DLP that I stick to (and hope to come under usually). If I see an offer, I'm happy with the price, and its within my budget, then I'll usually book.
