Yesterday I ran the ORRRC Half Marathon in Xenia, OH. I finished in 2:51:02. I posted a Race Report in the weekly thread. I registered for the Disneyland Half Marathon and put an expected finish time of 2:46. Looking at my result and how I've progressed, a 2:40 is possible in September. I ran yesterday using Galloway approximately run 1/walk 1. If I keep the same speed running and walking and can progress to run 2/walk 1, I'll have the 2:40.

Should I consider sending my race results to Disney and updating my expected finish time now, or should I want and try to do it at the expo after I see how I'm progressing?

If your time supports 2:40, send it in. They aren't going to not award you the medal if you finish in over 2:40. Might as well get the extra time cushion!

The cut-off for no proof of time is 2:45 right? You might as well send it in then...even if it's only a 4 minute difference that should definitely bump you up a corral

Just heard back from Disney. They updated my expected finish time and added my proof of time. I sent in a 2:41 expected finish with my 2:51 half. I'm assume I'm all set then.

Yay for you! I'm glad they took the info already. Great to have to avoid doing it on the weekend.

Congratulations on your new PR too!
