New PP Enchancement-Darth Vadar

Hi, I just wanted to post a quick note that DD8 and I were at DLR yesterday (for the AP sneak peak of TSM) and we ran into a new PP opportunity in front of Star Traders. Starting 2 days ago (Tues. afternoon actually) they started taking an Enhanced picture where you can battle Darth Vadar-just like the Capt. Hook one. Pretty Cool!

P.S-loved Toy Story Mania-rode it 7 times in about 2 hours. Great Ride!

Oh my that picture is awesome. They told me all about it and I just missed it by a couple of days. As if I didn't need another reason to go back there, but that's why I have an AP.

Question.........so is Darth Vader really there and they add the lightsabers? Or do they add Darth too?

No, Darth Vadar and the light saber are both added. You (or your child) hold the light saber the PP photog has and they add on the rest. It works just like the one with Capt. Hook in NOS.

According to the CMs at PP center, they are doing DV at WDW too! We'll check it out in Sept as I plan on buying a CD again this year.

oh how cool so its on photo pass right so since we will have our own we could take the card right over to the photo place and have it printed up that day?
it looks so cool and we never knew about the caption hook one only the tink one

Right-they just scan it to your PP card. If you plan on buying several pix, then you should buy the CD for $79.95 and you can get unlimited pix for one price. Then you just take the CD (or do it online) to your local photo processor (I use Sams Club) and get as many pictures you want, for a lot less. Plus, if you have editting software, you can remove unwanted things from your pix as well.

Besides the Capt. Hook one, there's hitchhiking ghosts at HM, and Stitch at DCA. Also, the same PP who took the Hook pix also took one with DD seated and Mickey next to her. Or you can get Minnine (we didn't get this one). At DCA there is also one with 3 characters (Mickey plus 2) soaring over your head on a hanglider-like Soarin" ( I don't have this one either.)

This isn't enhanced but it's a fun one to get.

I can't find the one with Stitch but it's has Stitch bursting out of the ground.

Last Sept. I got the CD (prepaid) for WDW and was able to add DLR pix as well. We had a great time getting pix taken-I told all the PP I could find to take as many as they wanted since I already bought the CD-and they happily obliged!

We had horrible luck finding the PP photogs - we went in search of the Hook, hitchhiking ghosts and Stitch shots multiple times last week and never found anyone stationed in those places. Mickey was supposed to be on a bench with us but the image wasn't added to our card at all (another later one of Minnie was, however). We did get one from the bridge with CA Screamin' in the background but the photog didn't suggest the ears shot (that is so cute!). I am glad we did a PP share so it didn't cost too much but we wished we'd been able to maximize it more.

Some of the special additions aren't making it into the pictures the first time around, but if you view the PP pics in the parks, a CM can call somebody and they'll add it. It may take a few minutes, but they'll usually get it taken care of.

That is soooo cool! I didnt' know about this and will be taking full advantage of this next time we go. My kids will love the Darth Vader one. I have 3 boys obsessed with Star Wars.

I found that we didn't see a ton photopass people out at DL vs WDW, guess with WDW being so much bigger maybe it just seems like more.
