New port for 10/2/04 Eastern cruise...need help please!

We found out today we will NOT be going to CC and will be going to Nassau.
SO!!!!!!!!!!After a year of planning, I am now at a loss as to what we should do in Nassau!
My DH and DS were to go fishing on CC. Has anyone done a fishing trip in Nassau?

Since this port has not even been on my radar for the last year I have NO clue what to do! Now we leave in the morning, and am hopeing someone can help.

We are a family of 4 kids are 11 and 12y/o. We love to snorkel, fish, but a ATV tour might be fun. Maybe horseback riding?
I'm not even sure what if anything is open for business after the storms!?

We just booked a room at the Comfort Inn Suites to take advantage of the Atlantis property.

How did you find this out?

Is it going to be Friday Oct. 8th which was to be our CC day? I hope so, we booked the room for the 8th. Hopefully we'll confirm that before we leave cell phone range or if all else fails I have their email address.

Hi Shooter! I am thinking we will also do Atlantis (via Comfort Inn) I checked availability and rates (175-200). Since I am not positive of the date or time we will be there I may book online while on board.
Can you just be a "walk in"?

I e-mailed Atlantis to ask what kind of damage they had from the hurricaine, but have not heard back yet.

Do we need to bring towels?
Can I bring my small cooler?
Do you get an real "room" so we can change clothes, or is a "day room" just the passes?

I sure wished I paid attention to this subject before, but I NEVER thought we would be going there!

Day Room is just the passes.

Atlantis' web site said that there was no damage to the hotel and very minimal damage to the grounds.

Don't know about being a walk in.
