New pool area at Paradise Pier Hotel

I was wondering if anyone has recently stayed at PP Hotel since they have re-furbished the pool. What are your impressions and do you have any picture of the new pool to post? Thanks Marilyn

I was wondering too, if you are staying at DLH, they still let you visit the PP pool? Something I was reading sounded like it would be a nice place to go besides the regular pools are DLH.

We stayed there in May and got to see a preview of what was coming. They were building a nice water slide that was a few stories tall. It was completely separate from the existing pool...looks fun.

We are going in about 9 days and staying at PP. I am not a pool person. I will try and remember to go by there and check it out and take some pics. Hopefully I will remember.

Cool- can't wait to hear about it as we are thinking of changing our Ho Jo ressies to there if I can get a good rate. I've stayed there 3-4 times over its several incarnations, but the last time was in 2000 and it was just okay.

PP gets mixed reviews, but we absolutely loved it. The character breakfast in the hotel was reasonable and very fun. We have done it several times because my Mom LOVES Minnie Mouse.
Our room was beautiful. We got a corner room on the 11th floor overlooking DCA. It was simply breathtaking. We watched the Electric Parade from our room and the kids were amazed.
The room was completely redone and themed gorgeously. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.
