Just curious...

For the new trial system (May 23 - Aug 14?) when the Island itself is not requiring admission, are they still issuing wristbands at the turnstile areas, or do guests show their admission ticket at the club entrances?

(Do they have ticket readers/cancellers at each club entrance?)

I can't answer your question so I'll just bump this back to page one for you.

No, according to a thread I saw at another site they are IDing you and running your card at every club and from what i have heard people are not liking it just makes longer lines to get into clubs

We went over to PI while we were there this past weekend and it seemed to be going okay. I didn't see any super long lines at any of the clubs. Alot of people were outside.

Mannequins had a short line (maybe 10 people), but you also have to enter thru an elevator, so that would keep a line of some sort anyway. It seemed that they were doing everything to keep the lines moving.

On Friday, our first club was CW. They checked IDs as we entered the line and issued us wristbands. Then, another CM took our passes, brought them inside to scan them and brought them back out to us. Since we were going to CW where you have to wait in line anyway, it wasn't a big deal. However, at 8-Traxx, there was a slow moving line to get in the main entrance.

The lines at other clubs RnRBC and Motion weren't bad but I have to say, there seemed to be fewer people inside the clubs than there normally are on a Friday night. There were definitely more people on the streets, sadly a LOT more young children than are normally seen.

From some CM friends, I heard that Thursday at Motion people had to wait in line for an hour or more to gain entry. Of course that is CM night and Motion is a very popular club on CM nights.

I think they're still working the kinks out of the system. I found it rather annoying and I hope they go back to normal when summer is over, but somehow I doubt it.
