New player in town?

Best of luck to them, but the market in Orlando is already saturated. Not sure if a newcomer could come in and make it.

Maybe they bought up some swamp/ farm land in the area for peanuts.... They could beat uni in size----- But I don't think B Bunny has the ability to lead it-- Maybe they will have to start making some mixed live and animated Bugs movies... Wait- which production company is this linked to? ..... never mind.

All I can think of is an immersive looney toons attraction where Elmer Fudd chases you with a shot gun. Rabbit season... Duck season.. Pronoun trouble.

There aren't that many brands available that are not already owned by Disney, Universal, Six Flags or other theme parks.Star Trek, Lord of the Rings? Whether or not the market is saturated I guess time will tell. Hoping more news comes out sooner than later.

I think it could work if it is a six flags type offering with the big coasters...IMO there is a lack of big thrill rides in Orlando (Universal and Disney coasters are as wild as I get, but I grew up near Cedar Point, so I know the ones I like are very tame). It could pick up some of the teen/young adult market that may want to see Potter and ride TOT, but are not into the more princessy offerings. I like competition, I feel like it pushes companies to raise the bar (even if I won't partake in the more extreme elements).

Busch Gardens is pretty much the go-to for the more thrilling Six Flags style coasters in Florida.

I live here about 80 miles west of WDW. This rumor has been floating around my neck of FL for about 4 years now. To the point that there was a rumored deal of a land purchase north of me, due west of WDW (Pasco County FL). It was false.

Six Flags in GA advertises here but Bush has the market outside of WDW. I would be very shocked if this actually happened. Never say never though.

Six flags has been rumored to be coming to central Florida for... Well...ever.

I would think it's unlikely. The volatility in the economy over the last 15 years does not warrant new themepark construction. Travel is the first thing to go in a recession.

A conversion...like Legoland... Is a safe bet.

You know what that means?...Six Flags Splendid China on deck!!!

Or "Time Warner holy land"?
