New Planning DVD

I personally found them all to be entertaining and think it is the best DVD/video they've released thus far.

ITA: The only thing I would like to have seen different was to spend more time on the resorts. They were too rushed.

Me too. I have yet too see any real good video reviews of CBR. Everytime I see a Moderate review it is of Coronado or POFQ/POR.

I really like last years Resort section on the Planning DVD. I liked the way you could choose the video or still photos from each resort and you could also view floor plans for each resort. I wished they still kept that feature on the DVD.

The CD-ROM is similar to that, although it drives a lot of stuff through the web site (which actually makes perfect sense).

I ordered mine in december...but unfortunately, I am from Canada and they send you the "older" version!! I was a bit (A LOT) disapointed! WHY IS THAT?? When you order it, they bring you to another website if you're from Canada... that's ridiculous!

I envy all of you who got the 2005 planning dvd & Cd-Rom...

After 4 weeks of waiting it finally came yesterday. I was so excited. My husband and I watched the entire thing, it was great- so much better than last years planning DVD. It got me excited for the 50 year celebration, looks like a lot of great stuff will be going on. The only thing I was bummed about was I was hoping the planning CD would have also been for people who have already booked, like for priority seating resesrvations, etc. - something you could print out, I would love to see something like that. I also wish they went into more detail in the resort section. Great DVD though, got a kick out of the hosts.

How sad is this? I STILL watch my old ones to get me in the spirit! Since I just orderd the 2005 DVD last month, I'm sure I'v got a good wait. Oh well,they keep telling me,"Patience is a virtue"......arg!

Upon first watching, I found the DVD gave me a headache. While I don't mind the "MTV" jump cutting that is the norm these days, this DVD seems to take that format and put it on speed. And, yes, I know I'm sounding like I'm 114 years old.

I also found the hosts' overacting annoying. "Look at us, we represent a different section of the population! I said, LOOK AT US!" Way too over the top for me.

On the upside, I do appreciate the new footage (though limited) and change in format.

This is only my first impression, which might change over time. I'm sure my wife and I, being the Disney nerds that we are, will watch it a few more times.

Got mine yesterday! Only got the chance to watch some of it but we LOVED it!!!! We ordered ours about the 2nd week of January so we received it pretty darn quick Can't wait to watch the rest! It makes us soooo excited to get planning (Love this little banana guY!)

I thought Luke and Dave were hilarious. It's funny b/c Luke acts like he's right out of the early 90s. No one talks like that anymore. All his slang and slouch is from when I was a kid. He reminds me of Pauly Shore....which isn't really a good thing. I think the video created a great sense of balance between all ages. Don't get discouraged - just laugh at how silly it is.

I thought this planner was SOOOO much better than other years. You can actually see the park instead of getting a quick run through. My son loves disney but not the videos we had. HE LOVES this one. He watches it over and over. It's like a travel movie.

Hmmm... I ordered mine nid-January and haven't gotten it yet! Hopefully it will arrive soon - I can't wait much longer!!
