New Pins coming!

I called to get rates for our trip in September since we want a specific type room and they told me the kind of room we want is no longer available through the special now but that they haven't set out the new specials for September yet, she said they do it each quarter and it's not time for Sept. yet...so does that mean March 1st is when they will come out with specials or do we have to wait until this special is over after March 27th? I'm all confused with the PIN thing. I keep getting pins for May but we are going in September.

I called again today to try to add a day at the start of our trip, but still no availability, I could just kick myself for not adding it when I originally booked our trip.

I am thinking new specials for Sept/Oct won't be coming until when the current % off promo ends on 3/27 since so many are reporting the rumored FD pin will be for Jul/Aug.

I figure by then the type room I want will be booked up too for October, since I want BCV and F&W will be going full force by then............so I am resolveing to just keep our trip as is and be happy and pray that it is not too hot and humid. I have to make our ADR's 3/29 so I need to get planning

We are planning a trip for October. Disney has sent me the same pin about 4 times this month (35-40% off room only). I have priced it out, and while the pin is good for us-certainly better than nothing- FD would be so much better. My kids love the character dining and that in and of itself makes the dining plan worth it for us regardless if it is free or not. Vacation expense wise, FD is a WONDERFUL thing. So my dilemma is this...My pin needs to be used by the 27th of this month. Supposedly new pins are coming out 3/1. I feel asthough if I book with this pin, any hopes of getting a FD pin would be out the window since they already got me, lol. My only hope would be for a general public FD announcement. If I let current pin slip by, what if I get nothing and then end up paying rack rate. What would you do???????

PS. I would be saving approx $400 booking with the pin now vs no pin later, approx $700 with FD vs current pin vs $1000 with no pin. OYE my head hurts

Same situation for me. I went ahead and booked with my 40% pincode because while FD will save us another $300, I cannot afford to stay BC without one or the other offers. Since booking I have received another email pincode so I am hoping I would still get the FD code too. Good luck!

nothing for me either, it seemed when I went often I always received codes and when I stopped , so did the codes

cathyarms, I totally agree with you! Because of my family's work schedule, the only time that we can travel is the last week of June. I am extremely bummed out that discounts are being offered for just about every date except the last 2 weeks of June.

Does anyone think that I am wasting my time checking for a discount each day? Will something new come out for these dates? I am willing to take a room discount or free dining. Has anyone received a pin for the last week of June?

I've received a code but it was for the fall and was room only. Of course as usual we have reservations for July. Is there any chance I could get this code on march 1 so that I can get free dining or discount for my stay? That would be awesome, but unusual for our typical summer trips. When I called the other day I asked if it could be used for July but the obvious answer was no. The cm made no mention of any forthcoming code.

Yes - you need to register (or sign up I think they call it) an account on the WDW website and you can go into "My Disney Vacation" and fill in your profile and preferences. Then they know you exist and they might email you a discount offer. This discount offer will have a unique PIN code in the email which you need to match up with their records to get the discount.

My birthday is March 1st. It sure would be nice to get a pin as a present but I called today to see about the GF RPR for April 30th -$800 for 1 night. Think we're skipping the GF this trip.

I just hope they come out with the AP codes soon. I am not jumping over possible pin codes on March 1 because I have never received one. So I'm not holding my breath this round.

I recieved 2 in February that were exactly the same. Both for a tiered percentage off resort rooms. I believe it was 35% off moderates, which only saved us about 80.00 BUT a savings is a savings

Just made res modifications and asked about pins. Nothing. Been registered for a long time and visited WDW quite a few times. Never had a pin.

Asked about the March 1st pin - silence and then "uhhhhh, did you hear about that online or something?" .......Yes. "um well, they should not be talking about it yet, but yes there is something."

Here's to knowing I will not receive anything. I did ask him to put an * by my name for future PIN mailings........he laughed

Just called to inquire about a PIN. Present or future. We have the one that expires tonight..for a room discount. He wouldn't confirm a new one but, did tell us to make sure we call back tomorrow!!

Fingers crossed we get free dining for our August trip! Good luck to everyone else too!

I called , I had the FD pin good from April 1- Aug 13 is the dates she said. Of course not sure if she meant July 1 cause that's what all you guys are being told but either way doesn't help me cause I am going Sept. Owell here's to hoping for new pins in April-June so I can get FD!!

I asked what the deal was and I was told free QSDP for both value and moderate resort bookings and only deluxe resort bookings will get the regular dining plan for free. This is a change from the past; moderates will only get QS on the deal we received.

Also, she gave me the specific pincode; so, I could go online and try for myself via the website.

I'm grateful for the code, but I really wanted December. I might reconsider with this deal for my dates. Free dining is a big plus for us.

That does seem to be true from what I have been reading thus far today here on the DIS, some are reporting dates from April 1 to Aug 13, others later start dates but it seems August 13 is the ending date also I have seen variation in the DP's offered at the various resort levels. No pin here but our trip is in September

Just got off the phone and can confirm what I was told...

Free dining...QSDP free for mods and values DDP for Deluxe

the dates I was told: April 23 through Aug 13.

I just booked for POR for the first week in June....

Is there a place to enter PINS on the website!?!? I had not idea this was possible...I thought you had to call.
