New pin code??

Hi there. Just called this morning for the first time to check if there was a pin code attached to my name. The CM initially said yes but that she was having a hard time located the date range for the pin code. I was put on hold for a little while and when she returned she informed me that I did indeed have a pin code attached to my name, but that it didn't come into effect until Sunday. She was able to tell me that it had to do with free dining but wasn't able to tell me more than that. So I was directed to call back Sunday to apply the code to our existing room reservation.

Interesting... huh?
 
Very interesting. I was given something today for our September 4-11 stay and I don't think any discounts are out for that time yet :confused3.

Boy, RobAudJuliaMaya, I bet this will be one of the longest weekends of your life waiting until you can call on Sunday :tink: Make sure you let us know what happens and here is some pixiedust: for you :wave:
 
OK. It WAS an exceptionally long weekend but I kept myself busy so that helped!

Anyways, called today to inquire about the details about the PIN code attached to my name and was on hold for a REALLY long time (at least 8-9 mins). When the CM came back, he did confirm that there was a PIN code attached and that it expired at the end of May 2010. Unfortunately, he was unable to call up any details about the pin code, nor could he apply that pin code to my reservation or create a new reservation using that pin code discount. He even had his manager attempt to access the code and help him apply it. No luck. He said that it's never happened to him before and that his manager's only advice would be to call back.

(sigh) More waiting... at least I don't have to keep calling to find out IF I have a pin code. I'm still jazzed that I had one since I've never had one attached to my name before. Yay for that. Keeping my fingers crossed that this pin turns out to be something useful.
 
Just called and nothing out for September. At this point, I don't want to have my reservation flaged because I think we got a code that wasn't suppose to be released yet so no more calling unless I see something posted on Disney's website.
 
I'm checking now about possible free dining for your Sept 4-11 stay. We got 30% off already, but free dining would be a bonus:wizard:

REmember it's one code or the other you can't have 30% code and free dining. Depending on your party size free dining may not be as good as 30% off. By the way I have been in September before for our anniversary and it was the best weather we ever had at Disney

For us it probably wouldn't since we some how got 40% off not 30% off. We actualy got Contemporary from Sept 4-11, for $192.38 a night w/tax.
