The Walt Disney World Resort is offering a new payroll option for College, International and CareerStart Programme Participants: the PaychekPLUS! Elite VISA Payroll Card.
A Stored-Value Card similar in concept to a Debit Card or the "Welfare Cards" used now in many U.S. States to distribute Social Welfare Benefits; Participants will be able to have their paycheques directly deposited onto the Card.
They can then withdraw the money at any Partners Federal Credit Union or other VISA ATM, as well as use it at any Merchant that accepts VISA Cards. They can also deposit Money onto the card through Western Union, Green Dot or at any Partners Federal Credit Union branch.
As far as I'm aware, this will not replace existing payroll methods. Participants can also choose to continue to pick up paper paycheques, or may also arrange for Direct Deposit into a Partners Federal Credit Union or other Bank/Credit Union account.
Information on this new Programme will be provided to new Participants during the Check-In process. Current Participants should consult internal company sources for more information.
