Okay, so this is the new ?. My 2 oldest want to do the Wild Side Adventure at CC, but the whole family wants to do parasailing also. I've read on the boards that you should book the parsailing early due to the fact that sometimes they cancel due to wind.

Any thoughts?

i looked into the parasailing and this is what i found..

for about 70.00 you only have 5-7 min up in the air. this just didnt seem worth to me.

I did parasailing at CC a couple of years ago and to me it was more than worth it! The feeling is not to be believed.

I would say book as early in the day as you can. I was on the last boat out. They had to take us out pretty far due to changing winds so I never really go to see the ship and my DH who was on the ship never got any video footage of me. Plus we were running so late that they really booked it back to the ship (the all aboard was already given but they wouldn't leave without us). The parasailing was dry, but that ride back got us all soaked!

Be sure and bring 2 disposable cameras - one for those on the boat to use of those parasailing and one for those parasailing to take pictures up there!

My DH and DS were on the last boat of the day. It worked out for them, but I have heard people say that sometimes they don't get to go. Of course, if it doesn't go, you aren't charged, but if you really want to do this, book one of the earlier slots.

Do you know when the last time they go out? I was thinking of booking about 3:00pm. Is this too late? I'm trying to give enough time for both DS's to get back from Wild Side and then eat lunch.

Boy, you're stretching my memory. It was May 2002, so I've definitely killed a few brain cells since then! I think they were on the 3:30 boat. I know the club closed at 4, and my DS was pitching a fit because he didn't want to leave Scuttle's Cove to go parasailing.
