After a crazy covid year of seeing the calendar always booked up, constantly waitlisting and stalking and on pins and needles for points to drop, I finally know the feeling of booking an 11 month out res.at my home resort. It is so fun to have immediate availability, low points in my studios. Whew!!! It will be easy sailing from here on out.

Sad news, I waitlisted for another trip. Last night, It matched with no notification to my detriment. I gave up and cancelled last night to waitlist for a new date. By the time woke up, I saw it was available then it was gone for good. For bad. Lol.I guess I’ll stick to my home resort for awhile!

Waitlist matching is a 2-step process.

First, the computer checks open rooms against the wait list. If a match is found, the room is put on hold. They don't send any notification for this initial match.

The process to create the actual reservation is manual and may take several days before it's completed. Once this has been done, an reservation confirmation email should be sent out.

Yep and I experienced it firsthand. It’s ok! I’ll be staying at Saratoga instead of Riviera.
