New Orleans late sail away questions

We are looking at a January cruise out of New Orleans. I notice all aboard is at 8:00 pm. Does anyone have an idea what the port arrival times would be? I assume late departure is due to ship getting there later that day so maybe PATs would be like 3-4ish? Just trying to figure in my head how they would time muster drill, dinners, sail away. Kind of a bummer as I was looking forward to watching the sights down the river but guessing we won’t see as much in the dark.

Sunset in NOLA January is 5:30 pm-ish so you wouldn't see much of the bayou even if you left earlier & it takes about 8 hours so you'll be out in the gulf when you wake up.

Yeah that’s what I figured. Just not sure what PATs will be and how they will work in muster, dinner, sail away if people still getting on ship until 8. I would love to have more time on ship if they had PATs at like 1-2. But if not at least New Orleans is nice place to hang out that day!

I seem to remember reading that in Galveston, arrivals are usually delayed because of fog. Wonder if it’s something similar in NOLA?

That’s first cruise from New Orleans after it repositions from Galveston so maybe they need extra time for that process
